Brushes and Objects
 
       
  Brushes are geometric shapes such as triangles, cubes, rectangles, and spheroids. Brushes that appear to have curves are actually comprised of many small lines or planes. By varying the grid you can create brushes of great complexity, but bear in mind that the performance of both DEdit and the game renderer will decrease with extremely complex brushes.

Objects are items such as lights, enemies, weapons, food, desks, and so on. They are defined by classes, compiled into Objects.dll, and available to be inserted into your worlds.
